Restructuring Attorney Raymond Urbanik Joins Okin Adams Newly Opened Dallas Office

HOUSTON (January 1, 2017) Okin Adams, LLP is pleased to announce it has opened a Dallas office and hired restructuring attorney Raymond J. Urbanik to head up the Dallas office. Ray Urbanik was previously a partner at Munsch Hardt Kopf and Harr, PC where he worked in Munsch Hardt’s Corporate Finance and Restructuring Group. Ray also worked at the Dallas office of Barnes & Thornburg in the Bankruptcy Section. Ray is licensed in the states of Texas and New York and is admitted to practice in Federal Courts and Bankruptcy Courts throughout the United States. Ray is graduate of Duquesne University College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting, Duquesne University Law School and was previously a licensed Certified Public Accountant.

With over twenty-five years of experience, Ray has worked on all types of restructuring, bankruptcy and turnaround cases, including national restructurings. He has represented many debtors, creditor committees, bankruptcy trustees, large creditors, financial institutions, insurance companies and buyers of businesses and assets in bankruptcy sale and liquidation cases. Ray also represents trustees and business clients in contingency business litigation.

Ray is a former president of the Dallas Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association and is currently a Board Member. He is a frequent speaker on bankruptcy and restructuring topics and also is a guest lecturer at the University of Texas Graduate Business School in Dallas. Ray has also served on several boards of directors of non-profit organizations.
