Rebecca Jordan is a commercial litigation associate at Okin Adams LLP. Her practice focuses on complex commercial and energy litigation. Rebecca has represented individuals, small businesses, nonprofit organizations, and Fortune 500 companies in state and federal courts, as well as in proceedings involving government agencies. Her litigation experience includes breach of contract claims, business torts, fraud, royalty disputes, regulatory compliance, commercial collections, and labor and employment matters. She also has experience conducting internal investigations and advising stakeholders on next steps.
Rebecca earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Houston Law Center. During law school, she served as the Alumni Development Editor of the Houston Law Review, Chief of the Order of the Barons Honor Society, constitutional law teaching assistant, and research assistant. She received several honors, including Best 1L Brief from the Houston Bar Association and first place in the 2019 Hippard Mock Trial Competition.
Rebecca also gained valuable experience through internships with the Honorable Marcia A. Crone of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas and with the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office.
Prior to joining Okin Adams, Rebecca practiced at two international law firms in Houston, where she focused on commercial and energy-related disputes in a variety of jurisdictions.
Outside of her legal practice, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her husband and their four daughters, solving puzzles, and crafting new cocktails and coffee drinks.
